Electronic Throttle Bodies
The electronic throttle body eliminates the common throttle cable and replaces it with a completely electronic drive-by-wire system.  Using a sophisticated array of sensors the on-board computer system measures throttle demand via an accelerator pedal position sensor. The on-board computer then sends signals to the electronic throttle body where an integrated microprocessor interprets the signals and operates the throttle servo, which opens the throttle plate, commonly known as a butterfly.

Fully disassembled and inspected.

Throttle body shaft, bore and butterfly are checked for excessive wear and any defects are corrected.

Throttle body is cleaned of carbon build-up and checked for proper alignment in bore.

All electronics are tested. Internal PCB inspected for solder cracks. Electrical connectors and harness    are inspected and replaced as needed.

Servo is tested to ensure bind-free operation. Internal return spring is inspected for proper operation    and tension.

Unit is fully tested and ready for installation.
