K-Jetronic
Basic Troubleshooting |
Description
The K-Jetronic system is known as the continuous injection system (CIS). Fuel is continually supplied through the injectors. The incoming air quantity governs the amount of fuel distributed by the fuel distributor.

K- Lamda Jetronic
Basic Troubleshooting |
Description
The K-Lamda Jetronic system is known as the continuous injection system (CIS) with feedback control or closed-loop system. The air/fuel mixture is monitored by the oxygen (lamda) sensor in the exhaust manifoold. The lamda control unit uses the information to regulate the proper air/fuel mixture.
