Fuel Distributors

The fuel distributor is a mechanical fuel injection system used on European vehicles. The device provides precise fuel quantity to each cylinder and is mechanically operated by an air flow meter. When the throttle is opened the air flow meter movement causes a precision ground plunger to move in its bore, causing increased fuel flow to the cylinders. Later model vehicles also incorporate an electronic control system, which fine tunes the fuel deliver to improve fuel economy and emissions.

Fully disassembled and inspected.

Micro-finish restored on control plunger ensuring exact fit with control cylinder.

All o-rings replaced with upgraded materials.

New diaphragm with improved design and upgraded material is installed.

All springs measured for proper height and tension.

Exterior of casings are micro-blasted and inspected for cracks.

Unit is fully tested and ready for installation; 1) Flow tested to ensure all ports are balanced,    2) Pressure tested to ensure the unit is leak free.
