Fuel Distributors
The fuel distributor is a mechanical fuel injection system used on European vehicles. The device provides precise fuel quantity to each cylinder and is mechanically operated by an air flow meter. When the throttle is opened the air flow meter movement causes a precision ground plunger to move in its bore, causing increased fuel flow to the cylinders. Later model vehicles also incorporate an electronic control system, which fine tunes the fuel deliver to improve fuel economy and emissions. Read more about fuel distributors here.

Electronic Throttle Bodies
The electronic throttle body eliminates the common throttle cable and replaces it with a completely electronic drive-by-wire system.  Using a sophisticated array of sensors the on-board computer system measures throttle demand via an accelerator pedal position sensor. The on-board computer then sends signals to the electronic throttle body where an integrated microprocessor interprets the signals and operates the throttle servo, which opens the throttle plate, commonly known as a butterfly. Heater Servos
The heater servo is a vacuum-controlled on/off and a multiple pulse width-controlled valve stem. The servo responds to the temperature control resister chain. It has a small electric motor
that routes vacuum to control flaps, moves variable resister to send a signal to the amplifier, and opens and closes the hot water valve. The motor in the servo receives a voltage signal from the amplifier
that is located behind the glove box.

SAAB Information Displays
The Saab automatic climate control or ACC was designed to regulate cabin temperature and ventilation by just setting one adjustment, the temperature. The ACC system is then to take in account outdoor temperature, sun intensity and cabin temperature to fulfill the drivers request.
